Why was Paul so effective in bringing the Gospel to the Gentiles is the second question of Paul's apostleship, and my answer or answers will be my half of my thesis statement.
One of the reasons Paul was so effective is he had a pretty good formula whenever he traveled to evanglize the Gentile by learning to engage his surroundings by accepting its culture without compromising the Gospel. Another possible reason was he new where to start whenever he went to a new town, and that was the synagogue. Paul was like a chameleon that knew how to blend around its surrounding. Paul was able to observe people for who they really our to allow him later to present the gospel effectively.
